Constipation makes you feel tired all the time, bloated and grumpy. If you’re constipated, toxins are accumulating in your body. To start feeling better, you need to give up to all the foods that cause constipation.

Processed meat contains a huge amount of fat and a lot of toxic preservatives and additives that affect your colon. Processed med consumption has been link to serious diseases, like colon cancer. Avoid red meat and processed meat as much as possible and replace it with fish, seafood and chicken.
Your body needs healthy fat- take that fat from fish, from olive oil and from nuts. This type of fat doesn’t cause constipation; on the contrary, it fights constipation.

To cleanse the colon, it’s not enough to avoid foods that cause constipation. You also need to replace that foods with healthy alternatives and completely change your lifestyle. Make some exercise- one of the causes of constipation is a sedentary life style.

Green tea and coffee are also helping when you are constipated. Instead of drinking sodas and juices with lots of sugar added, drink plain water, plant infusions and greed tea or coffee: all that liquids will help your digestive system to function better.

Foods that cause constipation are hard to avoid: if you enter a supermarket, probably 90 % of what you find on the shelves is junk food. Even foods that, at the first glimpse, should be healthy, may, in fact, cause constipation. Bread is one of them. Even if you choose a whole flour bread, it’s not sure you’re buying a healthy product, because it could contain preservatives, additives and also food coloring. All that chemicals have a very bad effect on the digestive system.
