Adopt a delicious diet and avoid foods that cause constipation

In most cases, constipation is caused by food- by that, we mean junk food. Constipation is a disorder that affects mainly people from those countries where food has become an industry al all we eat in heavily processed. In United States, about one in every 30 persons gets to the doctor because of constipation, according to National Institutes of Health. Most people who suffer from constipation don’t go to doctor, so we might say that the prevalence of that disorder is much higher.

Foods that cause constipation are those foods that lack fiber. Fibers are very important for a good functioning of the bowel. The foods that we buy from the store and eat every day, like white bread, processed meat, sweets and fatty snacks, lack fibers and will cause constipation.

In the regions where the diet is different, constipation is not an issue. The Mediterranean diet, for example, avoids all the foods that cause constipation and replace them with healthy alternatives. One of the main ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine is the tomato: a great vegetable, full with fibers, vitamins and minerals. Also, they consume, everyday, a large variety of fruits and vegetables. In that region, people eat a lot of fish and seafood and don’t exaggerate with red meat- another good example of how food that causes constipation is avoided and replaced with a healthy alternative.

Bread and pastas, in Mediterranean cuisine, are made of whole flour, so they contain lots of fibers.  Fats, in Mediterranean diet, come from healthy sources: vegetable oils like olive oil and grape seed oil, fish and seafood. In western diet, fats are coming from red meat or in the form oh hydrogenated oils- both are really unhealthy fat sources.  If you want to avoid the foods that cause constipation and to eat delicious dishes every day, try Mediterranean diet.

If we analyze a little bit, we’ll see that all that food that cause constipation is the same food that makes us fat: refined cereals, processed meat, sweets, sweet beverages, fatty snack. Avoiding this foots will not only solve your constipation problem, but will also make you lose weight and look better. All that food contains very few nutrients, but lot of fats, preservatives, additives and chemicals. It’s no wonder that our body is no longer functioning properly. When you’ll start avoiding the foods that cause constipation, your body will detoxify and you’ll see amazing results. Your weight will drop rapidly, you’ll have much more energy, and your skin and hair will look a lot better. Give up to the foods that cause constipation and your general health will improve a lot.
